DISTANT NOSTALGIA

Every photo in this photo series was very intentionally taken with the idea of "distant nostalgia" in mind. It's hard to explain. Maybe the obstruction from Albuquerque, New Mexico feels like we're looking out the window from a child's eye. Portage, Indiana feels like the wide blue summer skies I used to see when I was little.

Even though it was my first time doing this transcontinental trip, time and time again, I found myself capturing scenes I had once "seen" before.
